⭐ HOW TO SIGN UP
CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT AND PARK SOMETHING CONNECTED TO HOUSING
Signing up is easier than closing on a house.
Creating a HousingFreak.com account is free.
You pay $7 when you create a standard full-page Parking Spot.
No subscription.
No scheduled renewal charges.
No complicated package to calculate.
📸 BEFORE YOU BEGIN
You do not need everything perfectly written before you start.
It does help to gather the basic material for your Parking Spot first.
Depending on what you are parking, you may want:
- A clear title
- Your best photographs
- Property, project, business, product or service details
- The story or advertisement you want to publish
- Your price, rent, offer or call to action
- Contact information you are comfortable publishing
- Website or social-media links
- YouTube, Rumble or other supported video links
Five minutes gathering everything first can save twenty minutes hunting for it later.
🚦 STEP 1 — CLICK “GRAB A SPOT”
Click the red Grab A Spot button in the main website menu or use the button on this page.
If you are not already signed in, HousingFreak.com will ask you to create an account or access your existing account.
Creating the account itself is free.
👤 STEP 2 — CREATE OR ACCESS YOUR ACCOUNT
Enter the requested account information and create your password.
You may be asked to verify your email address.
Your account allows you to:
- Create Parking Spots
- Edit and update your active Parking Spots
- Manage your public HousingFreak.com profile
- Receive and respond to messages
- See the Parking Spots connected to your Garage
Already have an account? Sign in instead of registering again.
⭐ STEP 3 — CHOOSE THE RIGHT CATEGORY
Choose the category that best matches what you are parking.
Your Parking Spot might feature:
- A home or property for sale
- A rental, room or vacation property
- A renovation, remodel or construction project
- A neighborhood or place to live
- A real estate agent, landlord, builder or contractor
- A property manager, designer or housing professional
- A housing-related product, business or service
- A video, podcast or review
- A housing experience, success, disaster or lesson
- A housing-related offer, opinion or story worth sharing
Your Parking Spot must genuinely belong in the world of housing.
The subject belongs in the housing world.
The angle belongs to you.
✍️ STEP 4 — BUILD YOUR PARKING SPOT
Complete the fields that apply to what you are creating.
Your Parking Spot can currently include:
- A title
- Up to 25 photographs
- Up to 20,000 characters
- Your advertisement, story or presentation
- Property, business, product, service or project information
- Price, rent, location or offer information where applicable
- Up to two supported embedded videos
- Website and social-media links
- Contact information
- A clear call to action
You do not have to be a professional writer.
Start with the facts. Explain what makes the subject interesting and what you want the visitor to do next.
Use AI if it helps you organize a rough draft. Use a friend. Use a napkin and a pen.
Just check the finished page yourself.
Make it accurate.
Make it useful.
Make it sound like you.
✅ STEP 5 — REVIEW EVERYTHING
Before completing the Parking Spot, take another look at it.
Check:
- The title
- Photograph order and image quality
- Spelling and factual accuracy
- Price, rent, location and property details where applicable
- Video and website links
- Contact information
- The call to action
- Whether you have the right to use the photographs, videos and other material you are publishing
If you would not want to explain something after somebody calls you about it, fix it before you publish it.
💳 STEP 6 — COMPLETE THE $7 PURCHASE
Follow the current checkout instructions to purchase one standard HousingFreak.com Parking Spot for $7.
- No subscription
- No scheduled renewal charge
- No required bundle
- No automatic expiration
A separate $7 purchase is required whenever you create another standard Parking Spot.
Parking Spots remain subject to current Freak Sites Terms, HousingFreak.com content standards, category requirements and applicable policies.
🏁 STEP 7 — PUBLISH AND SHARE THE URL
Once you complete the submission and purchase process, your Parking Spot publishes and receives its own page and shareable URL inside HousingFreak.com.
Now do something with it.
You can share the URL through:
- Text messages
- Facebook, Instagram, X or LinkedIn
- YouTube or Rumble descriptions
- Your website or newsletter
- Housing, neighborhood, investor or real-estate groups
- QR codes and printed material
- Direct conversations with buyers, renters, customers or clients
The social post can attract attention.
The Parking Spot gives that attention somewhere useful to go.
You can promote it yourself and leave StoryDrive™ completely alone.
StoryDrive™ and the Video Spotlight are optional services available when they make sense for what you are doing.
Current pricing and product details live on the Pricing page.
🔄 STEP 8 — KEEP IT CURRENT
Return to your account when something important changes.
Update the Parking Spot when:
- The price or rent changes
- The property sells or rents
- An offer ends
- A renovation or project is completed
- A product or service becomes unavailable
- Your contact information changes
- A factual correction is needed
- You have new photographs, videos or information to add
If the property sells or rents, you can update the page and leave the story there.
If the advertisement has finished doing its job, remove it.
Just do not keep telling people something is available when it is not.
🏠 YOUR PROFILE BECOMES YOUR GARAGE
Your public HousingFreak.com profile connects your Parking Spots in one place.
One Parking Spot may be all you ever need.
Create another later and it joins the first one.
Keep going and, over time, your profile can become your own housing Garage, property portfolio, project archive, showroom or Channel.
There is no requirement to build a big Garage.
Park one property.
Or build an entire housing Channel.
That part is up to you.
ℹ️ A NOTE ABOUT WEBSITE TERMINOLOGY
Some account screens may use standard website terms such as Listing or Vendor.
On HousingFreak.com:
- A Listing is called a Parking Spot
- Your public Vendor Profile functions as your Garage
The software may use the technical labels.
We call it what it actually looks like around here.
